This 1000 ml PEM electrolyzer is one of series product of Hycircle Technology Co., focusing on the green energy& safety markets. Hycircle product hydrogen generator with high purity, low energy consumption, high material utilization rate and long service life characteristic, which uses pure water as the raw material of electrolytic water for hydrogen production process to avoid potential pollution and corrosion problems. As an important technology for the production of hydrogen to be used as an energy carrier, the electrolyzer is a promising technology for energy storage coupled with renewable energy sources.

Normally, the electrolyzer is composed by multiple key components, including cathode plate, anode plate, MEA frame, seals, GDL and so on.

The electrolytic cell is the core unit of hydrogen production equipment, PEM electrolyzers utilize Proton Exchange Membrane as solid electrolyte to split water. In this process, water molecules undergo oxidation reactions on the anode side, losing electrons and generating oxygen and protons (H+). Subsequently, protons are conducted through the proton exchange membrane to the cathode side under the action of an electric field, while electrons flow from the anode to the cathode through an external circuit. On the cathode side, protons combine with electrons to undergo a reduction reaction, generating hydrogen gas. In this way, the PEM electrolysis cell completes the process of decomposing water into hydrogen and oxygen. electrical energy is converted directly to chemical energy via electrochemical route. De-ionized water is supplied from outside to the anode side of the electrolyzer cell and gets converted into hydrogen and oxygen gas.  This is also known as electrolysis.
