Carbon paper is a high-performance material made of carbon fiber, which plays a crucial role in PEMFC. It not only supports the catalyst layer and stabilizes the electrode structure, but also provides gas and water channels. In order to meet the high mechanical strength requirements of PEMFC for carbon paper, the carbon paper base needs to be further strengthened by resin impregnation, and given good resin interface bonding, surface smoothness, and pore structure characteristics through hot pressing molding.
