The 4.7L high pressure gaseous state hydrogen tank is made of carbon fibre+6061AL material ( also high-strength composite materials) are now used to store hydrogen at higher pressures to achieve greater driving range in hydrogen-fueled vehicles , which can store about 1500L hydrogen gas. Normally, the hydrogen tank always by pressurizing hydrogen gas to 20MPa-80MPa, the storage and release of hydrogen gas can be achieved. 
High-pressure hydrogen tanks are designed not to rupture and are held to rigorous performance requirements. Furthermore, these hydrogen tank undergo extensive testing to make sure that they meet these performance requirements. 


The carbon fiber hydrogen tank is mainly composed of a three-layer mixed material structure, including:

• Inner liner


The innermost material of hydrogen cylinder is a plastic liner, which is used to seal the air and prevent direct contact with hydrogen gas, serving as a barrier against hydrogen gas.

• Intermediate layer

This layer of Hydrogen storage cylinder is a pressure resistant layer composed of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP), which has high compressive strength and lightweight characteristics. It is composed of carbon fiber and epoxy resin, and the thickness of this layer is minimized as much as possible to improve hydrogen storage efficiency while ensuring the pressure resistance level.

• Outer layer

The outer layer of hydrogen storage bottle is usually made of glass fiber reinforced material, which has high impact resistance and further enhances the overall mechanical strength and safety.

• Sealing and protection

The inner liner and intermediate layer of the hydrogen tank work together to ensure that hydrogen gas will not leak in high-pressure environments and can effectively resist external impacts.
