Riding the "winter" wind, "hydrogen" sets sail. On December 10th, the "Yutong Group · State Power Investment Fuel Cell Product Batch Delivery and Strategic Cooperation Signing Ceremony" with the theme of "Hydrogen Energy Driving the Future" was held in Zhengzhou, Henan. 100 Yutong hydrogen fuel cell buses began to be delivered one after another, serving the Yanqing District of Beijing and supporting the 2022 Winter Olympics. Wang Yimin, Deputy Secretary General of Zhengzhou Municipal Government, Liu Yanling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Group of Zhengzhou Industrial Information Technology Bureau, Zhang Yinguang, Deputy Secretary and General Manager of the Party Committee of State Power Investment Group Hydrogen Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., Lu Yao, Director and General Manager of Hydrogen Power (Beijing) Technology Services Co., Ltd., and Cao Zhongyan, Deputy General Manager of Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. attended the ceremony and witnessed this important moment together. In 2021, against the backdrop of the implementation of the "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" strategic goals, China introduced multiple policies to encourage and support the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. Among them, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Opinions on Deepening the Battle of Pollution Prevention and Control" in early November, proposing to promote the demonstration and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and orderly promote clean energy vehicles. According to incomplete statistics, 29 provinces, municipalities, and over 48 cities in China have introduced policies to promote the development of the hydrogen energy industry.
The "wind" of hydrogen energy has arrived, with broad prospects.
As a backbone enterprise in the domestic commercial vehicle industry and hydrogen fuel cell system industry, Yutong Group and State Power Investment Hydrogen Energy Company have been in close communication since 2020. The 100 hydrogen fuel cell buses jointly developed by the two parties will be used to serve Yanqing District and support the Beijing Winter Olympics.
The reporter saw on site that the first batch of 30 vehicles delivered this time are all 11 meters (high level) 46 seat hydrogen fuel luxury buses, with a stylish and atmospheric appearance. The vehicles are equipped with imported airbags, luxury seats, ultra-low temperature heat pump air conditioning, and are very comfortable to ride. They are expected to become the latest interpretation of showcasing the "Green Winter Olympics".
According to Zhang Yinguang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of State Power Investment Group Hydrogen Technology Development Co., Ltd., "The hydrogen bus delivered this time is the first achievement of cooperation with Yutong. The vehicle will take the Winter Olympics as an opportunity to achieve a large-scale application demonstration of 100 vehicles in Beijing."

At the ceremony, the vehicle research and development and support team made a solemn oath: "Go all out to ensure the operation of hydrogen powered buses; go all out to support green technology for the Winter Olympics!" In the future, these vehicles are expected to be promoted and used as shuttle buses and tourist buses in Beijing and even the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, providing clean transportation services and helping green travel.
It is understood that this batch of vehicles will be filled with hydrogen in Zhengzhou, and then cross 800 kilometers to Yanqing, Beijing.
