Hydrogen is the most efficient energy carrier, which can be used for fuel cell and industrial applications. Among many hydrogen production methods, eco-friendly and high purity of hydrogen can be obtained by PEM water electrolysis, which was considered as most promising techniques for high pure efficient hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and emits only oxygen as byproduct without any carbon emissions.

PEM electrolyzer system produced by Hycircle Technology Co., Ltd employs high performance membrane electrode components and optimized hydrogen generator structure design in terms of technology, which have higher proton conductivity and chemical stability to operate long- term stable harsh working environment. The hydrogen generator rate of this product could reach 2000ML/MIN.
The electrolyzer manufactured by Hycircle is the core unit of hydrogen production system, which utilize Proton Exchange Membrane as solid electrolyte to split water. In this process, water molecules undergo oxidation reactions on the anode side, losing electrons and generating oxygen and protons (H+). Subsequently, protons are conducted through the proton exchange membrane to the cathode side under the action of an electric field, while electrons flow from the anode to the cathode through an external circuit. On the cathode side, protons combine with electrons to undergo a reduction reaction, generating hydrogen gas. In this way, electrical energy is converted directly to chemical energy via electrochemical route. De-ionized water is supplied from outside to the anode side of the electrolyzer cell and gets converted into hydrogen and oxygen gas.  This is also known as water electrolysis.

Tank body

This is the main part of an electrolytic cell, used to hold electrolyte and perform electrochemical reactions.

Anode and Cathode

Located at both ends of the electrolytic cell, they are the main sites for electrochemical reactions. On these electrodes, water molecules decompose into hydrogen and oxygen under the action of direct current.

Diaphragm

Usually used between the anode and cathode chambers to prevent direct contact between the two electrolytes and ensure smooth current flow.

Auxiliary systems

Including modules such as power conversion, water circulation, gas separation, and gas purification, all of which work together to support the normal operation of the electrolytic cell.
